VE is aimed at increasing the value of products/process. That is to achieve the necessary functions with the lowest life cycle cost to maximize the economic benefits.
VE is functional analysis process focused on find out existing problems through systematic analysis of functions and propose better methods to realize prescribed functions of the project, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing costs.
VE is conducted in a workshop and the focus of the VE based on the project team’s objective. The forcus of VE can be a product, a production process or project lifecycle, etc.
