Scope Of Services
FGS is a safety control system used to detect fire, combustible gas and toxic gas leaks. The system also includes alarms and various executable actions (such as activate deluge or fire suppression, etc).
A FGS system typically consist of detection elements (i.e. flame detectors, combustible gas detectors, toxic gas detectors, etc), programmable logic controllers and final elements which executes PLC commands such as open deluge valve, fire suppression systems, etc.
The assessment of the FSG system will ensure that the system is designed to response correctly to the hazards identified through various risk management studies with effective and timely responses. The assessment will also review reliability, redundancy of the components within the FGS to ensure system availability whilst limiting spurious activation.
