Scope Of Services
EERA is the assessment of Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER) facilities with suitable emergency response procedures can ensure that risk to personnel during a Major Accident Event (MAE) is As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).
EERA focuses on criteria when assessing if EER facilities are designed to achieve ALARP during a MAE:
·Notify the incident to personnel in time.
·Personnel can be evacuated from any area of the facility to a safe mustering point.
·The muster area is not easily damaged due to fire, explosion, smoke and gas intrusion, structural failure or other consequences.
·Personnel can safely evacuate the facility;
·People can be safely rescued from the mustering point after they have evacuated.
Crude oil, natural gas, LNG, gas processing and export, oil refining, pharmaceutical plant, coal chemical processing, fertilizer and agriculture chemical processing, chemical refining, etc.
The scope for EERA can vary between industries based on the nature of the facility (platform, onshore asset, underground mining, etc. EERA can also be applied in a smaller scale for specific purpose such as:
·Incident alarm analysis and emergency response management
·Escape Assessment: (escape route, emergency lighting, route impact, escape time, etc.)
·Evacuation Assessment: Rescue analysis
