IRC participate ‘Chemical Process Safety’ workshop hold in HKUST
From July 27 to 31 2015, IRC participated ‘Chemical Process Safety’ workshop co-held by Hong Kong University of Science & Technology,
University of Michigan, and Tsinghua University. More than 40 audiences from industry and Academic in Asia pacific zone participate this workshop.
Mtr Liu Qiang from SAWS and Speaker from Hong Kong Occupation safety management introduced the safety management policy and law.
IRC deliver two speeches ‘Mechanical Systems Integrity and Reliability’ and ‘Emergency Response and Accident Survey’ accordingly. Professor Daniel A. Crowl,
famous scholar in the field of process safety, delivered two speeches. All specialists, professors deeply discussed about process safety and related education in university.

Prof. Dr. Daniel A. Crowl obtained his master and doctor degree in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prof. Daniel is a fellow member
of AIChE (American Institute Chemical Engineers), ACS (American Chemical Society) and CCPS(Center for Chemical Process Safety).
Prof. Dr. Daniel A. Crowl’s book ‘Chemical Process Safety: Fundamentals with Applications’ is a classic referential process safety reading for American Universities.
